SEPTEMBER 11

So much will be said and written about the September 11th attacks today.
Six years.
So here's my very small contribution.

Forget. Just for a moment. Forget all the politics and the "War on Terror."

Remember. Remember how you felt. Remember the victims. Those who died, and those who didn't. Remember those vivid images.
In this era of disposable news and information, we should remember.
We shouldn't need the columnists and commentators.
We should remember, each of us, in our own way.

Gerry,
I remember it as if it were yesterday.. I was a seinor in high school getting ready for the world..Then suddenly tragedy struck and nothing seemed so important anymore. All I could do that day was sit in front of the TV and pray. And everytime I see those pictures I get such an overwhelming feeling of sadness.I still pray for those families and espescially now for our troops.

Maybe we should all remember it as if it really were yesterday.
Thanks, Mel.

Gerry,
Thank you for your eloquent thoughts on remembering September 11, and your response to Mel.
I am glad I happened to choose today to remember to take a first look at your blog.
