From our 5:30 news on Thursday:POLITICAL CORRECTNESS TAKES A QUANTUM LEAP FORWARD...OR BACKWARD...DOWN UNDER.
SANTAS IN SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA HAVE BEEN TOLD NOT TO SAY "HO HO HO" ANYMORE...BECAUSE IT MAY BE OFFENSIVE TO WOMEN.
THEY'VE BEEN INSTRUCTED TO SAY "HA HA HA."
SAYS ONE CHILD ADVOCATE IN SYDNEY: "GIMME A BREAK."

Wow..I'm so tired of all this politically correct stuff.. Let people say what they want and if others dont like it they dont have to listen!
I suggest that if you get rid of the so-called offensive "Ho-Ho-Ho" then the following words are also offensive. Guys names Dick or John, someone's last name being Bush, also the beaver, the pussy-cat and pussy-willow. Oh, don't forget dyke. Enough of this stupidity!
And in emails to the station, a viewer in East Haddam worries for the future of the Jolly Green Giant...and a viewer in Litchfield ponders renaming Idaho.
