NOVEMBER

Which month is worse, March or November?

March, despite its mud, melting snow, and dirty slush at least occasionally offers the promise of spring.

November offers...well...Thanksgiving, and not much else.
The only color I associate with November is gray.

The weekend was spent moving the outdoor furniture to the basement, dumping the flower baskets and pots, and generally getting ready to become an "indoor person."

It also included a good cleaning of the golf clubs and bag, but they didn't go down to the basement.
It may be November, but it doesn't mean I'm devoid of all hope.

November offers yellows, reds, greens, earthy browns. It offers crystal blue skies and clean, crisp air. It invigorates and rejuvenates. It offers the first, clean white snowflakes and the excitement of the upcoming holidays. November offers a chance to catch up on some reading, crocheting (well, maybe not for you), organizing and cleaning the house (for those who like the kind of stuff). November offers endless possibilities, you've just got to discover them!

I don't crochet, but I do get crotchety.
I am a good organizer and cleaner, though (when the mood strikes.)

Gerry, an "off-the subject" of your post question. Why, almost every third week, does the 9PM Thursday NBC show, THE OFFICE, not materilize in Hi-Def.
Is it the fault of the NBC netword feed, or.....???

Thank you for your expert comment to come (I think!)....and yes! It looks like Schill will be back for '08. Peter N. on this gloomy Tuesday morning.

Peter, I still don't know how I get from the studio to your TV set.
I would suggest you contact our chief engineer, Keith Barbaria.
Great news on Schilling!
