I've never spent much time on Long Island, but here are 2 quick observations. You know you're on monied territory when all you see are gates and landscaped driveways, but the houses are out of sight.
And if Sunday traffic is any indication, I don't ever want to be there Monday through Friday.

And Sunday night marked (for me) the true change of season.
Instead of lounging in tee shirt and tattered shorts while flipping between the Sox-Yanks and Patriots-Chargers, it was time to haul out the sweats.

I hate it when that happens.
