A GOOD SNOW DAY
I'm sure kids on vacation think it's a waste of a good snow day, but it really is a GOOD SNOW DAY.Would I rather be on the first tee at Tallwood? Sure.
But it's February 22nd (the day formerly known as Washington's Birthday), and as I think about getting ready for work (so I can tell you it's snowing), I can't help but stare out the window and admire how pretty it is.
No rain, no sleet, no wind...nothing but snow.
It seems we don't get a lot of days like this anymore, and we have Saturday to clean it up.
So why not enjoy? And have a good weekend.

Days like this make me so grateful that I have a home office and the flexibility to choose to work from there during yucky weather. No traveling on slippery roads, wearing warm snuggly sweats instead of a suit, periodic cuddles with 2 very furry kitties, and an office with a great picture window for watching the snow drift down flake by flake. And home-made latte by the quart. I'm lovin' it!
Go ahead. Rub it in.
It sure was a beautiful snow day. I had to work and drive home in it, but it was still beautiful. We are very fortunate to live in CT. We can enjoy four beautiful seasons and rarely have destructive weather. I know how much you like to golf, but I'm glad you appreciated the beauty of snow!
