WHO IS THIS BRADY PERSON?
That’s what they might be asking in Nicaragua or Romania, when they put on their brand new “New England Patriots Super Bowl Champions” tee shirts. In case you missed it, the NFL packs up all the losing team’s gear and ships it off to poorer countries through World Vision.
A nice gesture, but here are two scenes from a movie you’ll never see (though it would be fun).
CUT TO LOSING TEAM’S LOCKER ROOM.
Tom Brady: “I can’t believe we lost, Coach.”

Tom Brady: “I can’t believe we lost, Coach.”
Bill Belichick: “Me neither, Tom. But at least we’ll make some new fans in Nicaragua.”
DISSOLVE TO NICARAGUAN AID CENTER.
Relief worker: “Tenga una camisa y un sombrero nuevos.” (“Here’s a nice new shirt and cap for you.”)
Recipient: “Perdieron! Donde esta la material de los Gigantes? No puedo usar eso!” (“Are you kidding me??? They LOST! Where’s the Giants stuff??? I can’t wear that!”)

oooooh, we're bi-lingual now!
In prior years, these goods would have been destroyed. So, on the one hand, I guess it's a good thing that they will go to the less fortunate. On the other hand - oh, the humiliation, as it spreads across the planet! oy...
your amazing sense of humor never fails to put a smile on my face..espesially when I have been up for two days straight(sick baby)...I'm sorry your guys lost but there is always next year!
Thank you! I'll be here all week. Try the veal!
And those internet translating services are wonderful. But I did consult with a Spanish speaker just to be sure.
Before sending these goods overseas I belileve they used to sell them for next to nothing in this country. We've seen Tee Shirts and hats from many losing teams at flee markets, especially on Cape Cod.
