THE MAN'S A FERRARI
That means the rest of the field of the events he enters is playing for second.
And the rest of us (who care) are witnesses to history. OK, golf history.

I’ve always enjoyed rooting for the underdog (unless “my” teams are favored)…but I enjoy seeing Tiger win.
And not just win, but win in a big way. Stewart Cink just happened to be the latest opponent to get in his way.

I admire his quest for perfection in a game that is populated by those of us who are so imperfect.

There are those who call his game unbelievable. Believe it. We don’t see the hours and hours he puts in on the range.
There’s only one thing I don’t believe about Tiger.
I don’t believe he drives a Buick.

My younger brother, who is such a golf nut that he actually works for the Acushnet Company (and I'm sure you know who they are!) tapes Tiger's televised matches so that he can "study" to improve his own game. Seems a bit obsessive to me - but
I understand that this is required by the regulations of the game. ;) Personally, I'd call it hero worship...
There can be such a fine line between a fan and a fanatic.
(I hope he has a single-digit handicap.)
If I recall correctly, it's an 11 - not too horrible, though he clearly hates that he hasn't yet broken into that next level. Can you imagine that company golf team? It's a real hoot!
Tiger is Tiger. And then, everyone else. Scary, huh? He's just into his prime.
