HERE'S TO YOU
Apparently, the Joy of Sharing didn't end with our toy drive.
I really can't recall the last time I saw the kind of viewer reaction and response to a story that we've seen with Thursday's story on the attack of a little dog in Milford.
We've received dozens of emails and calls from viewers asking how they can help defray Jack Vernon's vet bills for Sparky.
Maybe it's because Sparky's so darn cute. Maybe it's the older man's love for his dog. Maybe it's the Christmas season. Maybe it's all of the above.
And maybe it's not. Maybe most people are honestly, truly compassionate and caring.
Come to think of it, forget the "maybe."

I feel so bad for this little doggie...how can something like that happen? I'd love to help......take care, Gerry. Our Christmas party was short (my choice) but sweet. Happy holiday weekend, my friend. Peter...is there an address to help the little one??? Please??????????
Peter, I'm told to go to "local news links" on this website, and there's some information. Apparently a fund is in the process of being set up.
