HI DEF JAM
A little more than a year before television must go digital.February 17, 2009.
Me? HD ready? AGGGGGH!
So 2008 should be the year to get my teeth straightened and whitened, and get those hair transplants, right?
Hee hee. Ha Ha. GUFFAW GUFFAW.
Not gonna happen.
But I promise to keep those annoying little hairs that grow out of my ears and on my nose trimmed.
I know, so much more than you needed to know.

Oh Gerry, you are priceless! Hang on to your old TV as long as you can. My old Magnavox finally blew its tube and I replaced it with a small HDTV. It's not worth the money. The Magnavox was a much better set. Sometimes technology takes a step backwards.

I'm not throwing any TVs out...but I do love the detail HD gives to a sporting event.
So I'll take the leap sooner or later. (Probably later.)
Leap today! Well, actually, the stores are way too crowded on this Thursday morning, and the prices will certainly go down as the post-XMAS glow fades into monthly credit card bills. Ho-ho-ho, I guess.
